14 th Dentsply Friadent World Symposium

The 14 th Dentsply Friadent World Symposium 2010 took place in
Dr Werner Groll, CEO and Vice President
of Dentsply Friadent, had
promised that the symposium
was going to present knowledge
and skills revolving around the
dental office. Getting dental
offices ready for the future – even
in economically difficult times –
was the objective of the Barcelona
event. One hundred renowned
speakers and a program and discussion
forums spanning a wide
range of topics implemented the
guidelines issued by the symposium’s
scientific directors, Prof
Heiner Weber (Tübingen), Dr Henry
Salama (Atlanta) and Prof Lim

Barcelona with 2,500 participants from all over the world attending.
BDIZ EDI had its own booth – and the two days were an all-around
success: Great networking, many international contacts and plenty
of new subscriptions for the EDI Journal. All the sample issues were
completely gone as early as halfway through the second day.

management were completely
sold out.
The 14 th Dentsply Friadent
World Symposium was a huge
public forum for dentists from a
host of different countries. The
BDIZ EDI booth got inquiries from
the Middle East and from Asia as
well as from all parts of Europe
and the Americas – which goes to
show that an international multiday
meeting is a highly attractive
event.
