members,observers and invitees from other Karayogams.
Sri Ajithkumar S , Secretary, presented the Annual Report
for 2017-18. Sri E V Nair, Treasurer presented the Annual
Financial Report for 2017-18 along with a projected Balance
Sheet upto 31.03.2020. All the above mentioned reports
were unanimously passed by the members with applause and
without deliberations. While the Secretary stressed the need
to strengthen the Society by enrolling new members and
clearing the arrears of membership fee by a few members,
the Treasurer made an impassionate plea to work for building
up a corpus fund for acquiring land and construction of Nair
Bhavan by March 2020. With this, the Board Observer Sri
G K Kurup declared dissolvement of the present committee
which paved the way for electing a new committee. Since
multiple nominations were not received for any of the
posts, the Returning Officer Mr. Rajesh Kumar of Nellyadi
Karayogam and the Election Observer Mr. Ravindran Nair
of Udupi Karayogam accepted all the nominations received
and declared the new team as elected. Similarly the present
committee of Mahila Vibhagam was dissolved and a new
committee was nominated. Sri Murali H, Sri Ajithkumar
S and Sri E V Nair continue to be the President, Secretary
and Treasurer respectively of the Karayogam. Sri Murali H,
upon taking charge as the new President sought cooperation
from all to discharge his duties effectively.

on the dais and Sri Murali H passionately spoke about
his valuable contributions to the Mangaluru karayogam.
The meeting ended at 2 pm with vote of thanks by Sri
Sethumadhavan, followed by lunch.
