AGT Planning: EC discussed the plans for Annual Get<br />
Together and Onam Celebrations for 2018. Proposals were<br />
made to schedule this event either at the end of September<br />
or early October depending on the availability of hall.<br />
Subcommittees for this event will be formed in the upcoming<br />
meetings.<br />
Malayalam Classes: Close to 60 students are attending<br />
the Malayalam classes organized by our Karayogam and<br />
Mahila Vibhag. EC meeting decided to register our center,<br />
teachers and students at Malayalam Mission website before<br />
our next meeting.<br />
Social Responsibility Programs: EC decided to hand over<br />
a cheque of Rs.11000/- to MMECT to provide financial<br />
assistance to a needy student. This fund was received as<br />
donation from Karayogam and Mahila Vibhag members.<br />
We also decided to visit an Old Age Home on 15th Aug'18<br />
and provide them necessary support.<br />
Secretary conveyed special thanks to all EC & Sarayu<br />
members and also to Sri.Sreekumar Pillai & family for<br />
hosting the meeting and doing all necessary arrangements<br />
including refreshments. Meeting concluded at 6 pm with<br />

AGM:Annual General body meeting of Sullia Karayogam<br />
was conducted at 10 am on July 1 at Karayogam office.<br />
Sri. C H Gopalan Nair, Senior executive member of our<br />
Karayogam was the returning officer for the election of new<br />
office bearers for the term 2018-20. Mr. Prabhakaran Nair,<br />
President of our Karayogam welcomed the gathering. The<br />
programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Sri.<br />
Gopalan Nair along with the President. The prayer song<br />
was sung by Kumari Ashika. U which was followed by<br />
Acharya vandanam.Karayogam members stood in silence<br />
for five minutes to express their condolence for the demise of<br />
Gangadharan Nair. The annual report was presented by Smt<br />
Ambika Chandrasekhar, Secretary of our Karayogam. The<br />
accounts of the year 2016-18 was presented by the Treasurer.<br />
The President Sri. Prabhakaran Nair delivered presidential<br />
address. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Sri.<br />
Balakrishnan Niar, Board Member of our Karayogam. After<br />
singing National Anthem the meeting was dispersed. After<br />
the meeting lunch was served to the members.<br />

Prabhakaran Nair, former President of our Karayogam,<br />
welcomed new office bearers and all other executive<br />
members. It was followed by prayer and Acharya vandanam,<br />
Sri. Chadrashekhar, new President of our Karayogam was<br />
congratulated in this meeting. Smt. Ambika Chandrashekhar,<br />
former Secretary of our Karayogam handed over Karayogam<br />
documents to new Secretary Sri. Priyaranjan Nair. The<br />
important topic of our Karayogam meeting was about<br />
the AGM which was conducted at 10 am on July 1. New<br />
office bearers discussed about the future programmes of<br />
the Karayogam. Meeting ended with vote of thanks by<br />
new Treasuer Sri. Viswanathan Nair followed by National<br />
Anthem. Monthly chitty fund collection also was conducted<br />
