Grid Race
How to Play
Grid Race
1. Place the arrow cards face down in a pile.
2. Each player begins with a marker in the top left
corner of the grid.
3. In turn, each player draws a card from the pile
and moves his/her marker. (If a player can not
go, simply pick up another card.)
4. After ten turns the player whose marker is on
the highest number is the winner.
Each player should record the route travelled on
his/her grid.
Variations
Here is a list of different ways to play the game.
• Use a six-sided dice marked with +11,
–1, +9, +10, +11, –10. (Other markings
can also be used.)
• Use a spinner instead of a dice.
• Use a blank grid and write the numbers
on the grid as you move along the route.
• Start at the top right of the grid and only
use arrow cards that subtract.
• Begin in the middle of the grid.
• Use a different grid, for example,
a Down and Up grid.
