Cirencester based “Benchwood Kitchens” are a
manufacturer of true bespoke English furniture,
who, using a combination of artisan craftsmanship
alongside modern production techniques, produce
both traditional and contemporary furniture to your
exact requirements.
Every run of furniture is meticulously measured and
made to fit seamlessly, standard size cupboards and
fillers are not restrictions that negatively affect our
designs.
In frame,wooden doors are fitted onto solid cabinets
using traditional butt hinges and as you would expect,
jointed wooden drawers come as standard. All of
our furniture can be painted to your individual colour
choice, either in our workshop or hand finished on
site.
Of course before any project can evolve, a design
needs to be produced, this is where midlands based
designer John Fisher is on hand, to offer practical help
and advice.
Originally from the north west, John trained as an
architectural technician in the 1970s with the iconic
“Rank Organisation”
Entering the kitchen industry 30 years ago, he has
planned and managed many prestigious projects not
only in the UK but also in the USA, Russia, Germany,
and even Iceland. He has had designs featured
in most leading home interest magazines, whilst a
kitchen for a well known celebrity chef was featured
on national television.
