COULSDON LIBRARY<br />

It’s free to join the library and nearly everything is free to borrow.<br />

Adults and teens can borrow up to 25 items, children up to 15.<br />

We have free wifi, free use of PCs and access to the internet for<br />

up to two hours per day.<br />

Library services are available 24/7, with a digital library of audio<br />

and e-books to download.<br />

Viv’s Storyhouse will share stories from African folklore for Black History Month and Libraries<br />

Week. Saturday 13th <strong>Oct</strong>ober 2-3pm. Free but booking required.<br />

Rhymetime. Tuesdays 10-10.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Wiggle and Jiggle. Thursdays 11-11.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Craftytime. Fridays 3.45-4.30pm. 3-7 year olds and their adults.<br />

Rock & Rhyme. Saturdays 10-10.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Storytime. Saturdays 3-4pm. 3-7 year olds and their adults.<br />

7-12 year olds use the fun and interactive LEGO Education programmes, WeDo or StoryStarter.<br />

WeDo shows how to make models which can be programmed to move; creative stories can<br />

be inspired with StoryStrarter. These sessions are now FREE! Advanced booking required.<br />

Monday 8th & 22nd and Tuesday 2nd & 16th 4-5pm.<br />

For Adults<br />

Colonel John Power will give a free talk about the Hardest Day, a raid that took place on the<br />

8th of August 1940. This talk is part of the RAF Kenley and Kenley Revival Project lecture<br />

series. Friday 26th 10.30-11.30am. Free but booking required.<br />

Adult colouring & dot-to-dot and knit, stitch & crochet group. Every Monday 10.30am-12pm.<br />

Adult reading group. On the 2nd Thursday of the month from 2-3pm. On Thursday 11th<br />

<strong>Oct</strong>ober the group will discuss The Muse by Jessie Burton.<br />

We now have a Live Well Adviser to support people who want help to access the JustBe<br />

website or to have a chat about their lifestyle. Tuesday Mornings 10am-12pm.<br />
