The CASMAC initiative was a project involving the University together with a number of other Australian universities and the
Commonwealth Department of Education Training and Youth Affairs, in developing a national computer based administrative
system for Australian universities. The CASMAC project has now ceased. Other than the database licence, capital expenditure
was written off as the project has been terminated.
