The CASMAC initiative was a project involving the <strong>University</strong> together with a number <strong>of</strong> other Australian universities and the<br />

Commonwealth Department <strong>of</strong> Education Training and Youth Affairs, in developing a national computer based administrative<br />

system for Australian universities. The CASMAC project has now ceased. Other than the database licence, capital expenditure<br />

was written <strong>of</strong>f as the project has been terminated.<br />
