Financial Liabilities The net fair values of trade creditors, borrowings and other liabilities are short term in nature and approximate their carrying amounts.
NOTE 26: SEGMENT INFORMATION The University is located in the Australian Capital Territory and operates primarily in Australia to provide tertiary education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The University of Canberra College Pty Limited, which is reported as part of the consolidated Financial Statements, is located in the Australian Capital Territory and operates in Australia to provide a specialised range of Diploma education programs. The Consolidated Financial Statements report the outcomes of the economic entity that operates primarily in a single industry and geographic segment, being the provision of higher education services in Australia.
