18 A new Beatles attraction is the Magical Beatles Museum on Mathew Street. Roag Best, brother of original drummer Pete and son of Casbah Club owner Mona, has opened up his extensive collection of memorabilia and other items over three floors, much of which has never been seen before. However it’s not all The Beatles - Liverpool’s music scene is always booming, with artists entertaining passionate crowds every night in independent venues such as Invisible Wind Factory, District, EBGBs, The Jacaranda and Buyers Club. Some of the biggest names in music have visited the city’s Echo Arena and O2 Academy recently, such as Katy Perry, Stormzy and CHIC. For classical fans there is the world-renowned Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and a thriving dance scene brings warehouses and clubs alive throughout the year.
