Steady First Year of Business
Stettler Building Supplies has seen a
gradual yet exciting increase in customer
clientele since their opening in
February over 8 months.
“I call it a good year. It’s been a year
of growth from starting off in the
winter time with almost no sales up to a
few houses on the go,” said Ralph
Toews, owner of the new store.
Toews had always dreamed of
owning a supply store since his 15 years
of past experience lies in the construction
industry.
They are located on the east end of
Stettler in the industrial area in the
building that was once the
Bumper-to-Bumper.
The store provides most if not all supplies
and materials needed to build a
whole house if one so chooses; the definition
of a one-stop shop.
Exchange-a-blades, Valspar paint,
Cabot Stain, Dewalt, Freud, Diablo
products are carried at the store.
Whatever they do not have on hand,
they can order quickly.
Uncommon items are
known as special orders
which Stettler Building
Supplies is happy to
accommodate.
Toews and
his staff pride themselves on
friendly customer service.
The store has 6 fulltime
staff members
and one parttime
member.

David Ho came to Canada
in 1990 when his family
moved to Peace River from
Hong Kong. They later
moved to Edmonton where
David then pursued his
career as a Denturist at
NAIT, graduating in 2006.
When the opportunity
came available to work in
Stettler David took
advantage and made the
move. He has now been in
Stettler for three years and
has owned/operated the
clinic himself since
October 2016, transitioning
the name to Stettler
Denture Clinic.
Destiny Jackson has
joined Stettler Denture
Clinic at reception in May
of this year. She is always
ready with a smile to get
you booked in for an
appointment. They can
book your appointment in
office or if you reside in one
of Stettler’s Senior Lodges,
they are more then happy
to offer out-of-office
appointments.
