Snowmobile Safety Class
Learn useful and practical information on Iowa laws governing
the use of snowmobiles in Iowa. You will learn basic snowmobile
operation and safety. The course uses the ISSA Snowmobile
Simulator, an interactive simulator, which reinforces the
correct riding positions, gives you a ‘feel’ for what will be
experienced on a snowmobile, and allows you to experience
real riding scenarios. This is a fun and informative introduction
to snowmobiling and is perfect for youth and adults that are
new to snowmobiling. Youth ages 12 to 17 riding on state
snowmobile trails or public areas, including ice on rivers or
lakes are required to carry a certificate indicating that they
