WORKING TITLE
‘Working Title’ brings together a diverse group of
artists to exhibit their unique artworks in media
ranging from salvaged timber, glass and crystal
to steel, ceramic and copper. At Little River
Gallery from November 24 to December 18.
David Lloyd - Recent works from the hammering,
banging, bending, heating and brazing.
Blanche Fryer -’Time’ has been part
of the inspiration and the loose
commonality for my pieces for
this exhibition. Moments of
time and age and seasons.
Kimberley Dodd - My fixation
with the whale continues, an
ongoing journey through my
life.
Salvaged native wood
stamped with the patina
of use, of care or of
neglect. The personality
emerges as the whale is
created.
Dave Green - His art is
about changing the
form and shape of
found, discarded or
pre-used objects
- both natural and
manmade. The
“Lightshifter” glass
sculptures are reborn
out of pre-loved glass
and crystal and each one
is unique.
Jane Downes -OF BIRDS - Feather and nest
imagery are used to illustrate ideas of security
and development. The work is also an
exploration of form, balance and light utilising
the properties of welded steel to allude to
movement and growth.
