DAYS OUT
Lincoln BIG
sparkling festive fun for the whole family...
It’s time to wrap-up warm and start looking forward to a
fabulous, action-packed Christmas-time in Lincoln.
Lincoln BIG Events & Promotions Manager
Michael Armstrong said: “We’ve got all the
essential ingredients from twinkling lights to
decorated trees, pantomime characters, fourfooted
visitors, a Scandinavian-style bar, late
night shopping and much more!”
And we’re not waiting until December to get
cracking! By the time you read this the city will
have already welcomed the return of Thor’s
Tipi Bar to The Cornhill (on November 9) so
why no drop-in with the family and warm-up
with a delicious hot chocolate.
Thor’s, which is accompanied by The Cheese
Cave (which will serve up tasty grilled cheese
sandwiches) this year, will stay in place until
December 31 – so there will be plenty of time
for more than one visit!
On November 23, Lincoln promises to dazzle
families and visitors with no less than three
exciting Christmas Lights Switch-On
ceremonies, and there will be entertainment too.
The lights will go on at St Mark’s Shopping
Centre at 6pm, in the High Street at 7pm and in
the Waterside Shopping Centre at 7.45pm. See
for more information
and important details of how to park for FREE.
On Thursday, November 29, Reindeer from
the Cairngorms are coming to the city to meet
families and take part in a display and parade.
