Isaac Cooper was causing havoc on Darlaston’s left, all his outstanding<br />
runs and crosses going to waste as the chances could not be converted.<br />
Eventually the pressure told Darlaston doubled their lead in the 17th<br />
minute, Cooper again on the left cut back a cross into Ashley Evans<br />
path, his deft finish found the side resulting in his first goal for the club.<br />

Darlaston continued to build pressure and create chances and the game<br />
was over as a contest on 30 minutes. A second Darlaston player scored<br />
his first goal for the club, the impressive Jamie Holder with a right foot<br />
pin point finish at the far post, after Wellington defenders failed to clear<br />
the danger following a Noah Diallo shot.<br />
As the half came to an end the home side missed further chances to add<br />
to their tally, the visitors brought out the best in keeper Liam Whittaker<br />
diving full stretch to keep out Rudd’s goal bound effort.<br />

and industriously in<br />
