Club. Liam Jones gave Lads Club a first half lead whilst second<br />

Haughmond stay in second spot following a 7-0 trouncing of<br />
Dudley Sports. Wolves Casuals extended their unbeaten league<br />
run to 9 games and remain in third spot with a 3-0 home win<br />
against AFC Bridgnorth. Malvern Town remain in fifth courtesy<br />
of a 3-1 home win against struggling Wem Town. Harry Clark<br />
opened the scoring on 9 minutes, Wem responding immediately<br />
with a Tom Astley equaliser. Jay Saunston restored Malvern’s<br />
lead on 70 minutes before Clark netted his second of the game<br />
from the penalty spot on 86 minutes.<br />
Smethwick responded to the 11-0 thrashing at Tividale with a<br />
single goal home win against Pershore Town who remain in a<br />
relegation spot. Shifnal eased any relegation worries with a<br />
convincing 7-0 win at basement club Pegasus Juniors whilst<br />
Wednesfield kept the pressure on the top 5 with a 6-0 away win<br />
at Shawbury United.<br />
At Queen Street Bewdley Town got the better of Bilston Town<br />
Community 3-1. Delano Reid gave the home side the lead but<br />
three unanswered goals secured the points for the visitors.<br />
In Division Two Church Stretton failed to take advantage of FC<br />
Darlaston’s inactivity going down 3-0 at AFC Bentley. Bentley<br />
under the new management team of Jamie Mincher and Nathan<br />
Rose Laing did their tenants FC Darlaston a great favour and<br />
Nick Lewis’s men now look title favourites.<br />
AFC Ludlow kept alive their feint promotion hopes with a 4-2<br />
away win at AFC Bridgnorth Development. Two goals from<br />
leading scorer Tom Everall and one apiece from Connor Davies<br />
Austin and Jack Davies securing the points.<br />
In the only other game in the Division Hawkins Sports trounced<br />
Wolverhampton United 11-2. United have now conceded 30<br />
goals in their last 3 league and cup games. Former Darlaston<br />
striker Ryan Bradshaw helped himself to four goals, Simeon<br />
Townsend netted a hat trick and a brace apiece from Tom<br />
Allsopp and Ricky Nicholls completed the rout.<br />
