Data Privacy Insurance — 2 hrs. P&C<br />
This webcast provides an overview and in-depth discussion<br />
regarding cyber and internet liability, the cyber liability policy,<br />
exposures (common and not-so-common), sources of claims<br />
and then privacy laws. Unauthorized entities will be discussed<br />
as well.<br />
Directors and Officers Liability Insurance — 2 hrs. P&C<br />
The seminar is in three major parts. First a survey of the law<br />
underpinning the responsibilities of directors and officers of<br />
corporations (with a brief nod to the newer limited liability<br />
company). Second section addresses claims to help producers<br />
educate their clients on the need for D&O and overcome<br />
the standard objections to it. Third section reviews the major<br />
components of D&O policies, using the Insurance Services<br />
Offices’ Management Protection forms as a comparison point.<br />
Drones: Problems, Solutions and Insurance — 3 hrs. P&C<br />
Drone (unmanned aerial vehicle) technology is changing so fast<br />
that the regulators can’t keep up, and the insurance industry is<br />
struggling with both commercial and personal lines coverages.<br />
This session will provide the most current information available<br />
on this important and constantly changing subject.<br />
The E-world for Insurance Professionals — 3 hrs. P&C<br />
This webcast surveys the major sources of law with respect to<br />
privacy concerns relevant to the insurance industry. Includes<br />
descriptions of some of the current issues in privacy and a<br />
view of the statistics showing consumer concern about (and<br />
dissatisfaction with the current state of) privacy issues, federal<br />
and state laws pertaining to privacy as well as how to develop<br />
an effective and practical privacy policy both for agents and their<br />
clients.<br />
Emerging Work Comp Risks and Trends that Threaten <strong>Agent</strong>s<br />
& Their Clients — 3 hrs. P&C<br />
Disruption is occurring in the workers’ compensation line across<br />
a broad range of topics and disciplines. The medical, legal, and<br />
insurance communities are being forced to take on challenges,<br />
unlike any they have ever seen or experienced. Participants will<br />
increase their awareness of the risks facing them and their clients,<br />
and more importantly, learn how to address those risks to secure<br />
improved outcomes.<br />

More Americans are starting businesses based in their homes.<br />
This course will explain the exposures of home businesses and<br />
coverage gaps in the Homeowners policy and show you how to<br />
fill them.<br />
