Long Term Care Insurance — 2 hrs. L&H<br />
The primary concerns of someone facing a long-term care<br />
dilemma are the best facility to use, how much it costs and<br />
how to pay for it. This program reviews the rules, requirements<br />
and problems associated with the “government” (Medicare/<br />
Medicaid) paying for such care and the advantages, coverage<br />
options, riders, current trends, tax rules, underwriting criteria and<br />
potential cost of a long-term care insurance policy paying for the<br />
needed care.<br />
ETHICS<br />
Agency Management Based E&O and Ethics — 3 hrs. Ethics CE<br />
This program deals with structuring your agency in a way that<br />
will reduce the likelihood of having an E&O claim while firmly<br />
establishing proper ethical standards. We will address some<br />
issues every organization needs to face such as: Agency Culture,<br />
Management Styles, Policy and Decision Making, Team Building,<br />
Ethics through Transparency.<br />
Retirement Planning and Annuities — 2 hrs. L&H<br />
This course reviews the advantages and disadvantages of<br />
various retirement planning vehicles and concepts. Discussion<br />
concerning qualified plans will include: IRAs, ROTH, 401k, SIMPLE<br />
and a SEP. The discussion concerning non-qualified plans will<br />
include: Life insurance, annuities, stocks/bonds and Social<br />
Security. The session will conclude with a review of annuities:<br />
features, tax rules, distribution options and general contract<br />
provisions.<br />
Top 5 Life Insurance Uses — 2 hrs. L&H<br />
Examines five uses for life insurance that agents can discuss with<br />
prospects, ranging from fairly simple personal needs concepts<br />
to more complicated business concepts as well as the concept<br />
of using life insurance to coordinate with Qualified plans and<br />
providing a tax-free retirement plan for the loved-ones.<br />
Ethical Issues - Personal & Organizational — 3 hrs. Ethics<br />
Ethics in the most simplest of terms is a study of decision making.<br />
Why do people choose to make the “right” or “wrong” decision<br />
based on a set of circumstances? What are the factors that affect<br />
such decisions? There could be hundreds of factors, and they<br />
could be different for each person/decision. This webcast will<br />
only scratch the surface of an issue known as ethical decision<br />
making.<br />
Professional Ethics in the Insurance Industry — 3 hrs. Ethics<br />
This seminar is a fast-paced examination of many facets of<br />
professional ethics in five major parts: personal vs. professional<br />
ethics, objective ethical standards (where our obligations lie),<br />
ethical “hot spots” (where professionals are likely to encounter<br />
difficulties), use of ethics statements and case law and other<br />
situations in the context of best ethical resolution.<br />
