Baileys Delicatessen
in Beccles, under
new management…
With over 30 years of
experience between them,
husband and wife team Paul
and Suzanne Buck, took over
management at Baileys at the
end of October last year.
Previous to this, Paul spent
10 years at The Swan Hotel
in Southwold under Chris
Coubrough and
David Smith
and then
worked a
further
12 years
at the
Randolph
as head
chef for David
and Donna Smith
and then Gareth and Jenny
Knights.
Along side his
catering skills
Paul has also
been an on
call firefighter for 14 years in
Reydon and Southwold.
During this time, Suzanne
spent many years as bar
supervisor at the Sole Bay
Inn in Southwold for Chris
Chapman and Phil Tompkins.
Since their take over they
still sell a wide selection of
European produce, but also
want to showcase local
East Anglian produce.
One menu available
upstairs and
downstairs in the
deli, improves on
some of Baileys
classics along with some
new dishes concentrating
on simple ingredients cooked
well.
Suzanne says “We will be
starting our contemporary
breakfasts menu in the next
few weeks, serving from 9
till 12.”
“Later on in the year we will
also be adding afternoon teas
into our food offering, which
we are very excited about”.
Paul added “We would like to
thank all our customers, old
and new, for their constant
support”.
