But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is,
to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the
dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which
we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth,
confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For
“whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:1-13
Dear Jesus, I am tired of living a lie, I am tired of trying to live this life by myself. Right now reveal to me all sin
that I need to confess, not really to you, but so I am aware of the state I am in. (at this time just be silent and still
and soon the hurts, pains, lies, wrongdoings will come to your mind and just say them out loud.) Jesus, I am tired of
living this false identity, but it is all I know. I don’t know how to find my true identity, but I know you do. If you are
willing Jesus, I am ready to receive your salvation and begin the journey with you to reveal my true identity of who
you say I am in faith and fully believing in you. I am willing to have my onion peeled away and allow you to begin
creating in me who I have always been to you, My true and authentic self. I confess with my mouth that you are the
Christ, that you willingly laid down your life for me on the cross, died and rose again. I believe what you did for me
and that I am now righteous before you. I chose this day to renounce Satan and all his works in me through his
demons and any control they have had over me. I surrender my life battle to you, Jesus, I believe with all I am, in
my whole heart that you are my Lord and Savior, that you are the Christ. I give you and your Holy Spirit permission
to come into my mind, my heart, Spirit, and life and create in me the true me by the true you and your kingdom.
Amen.
Congratulations! This is the first day of you becoming the true authentic you. The real You God created you to be!
Faith and Believe – Renewing our minds.
In Hebrew, the word faith is “emunah” meaning firm, something supported or secure. It is someone firm in their
actions. Faith in English is usually perceived as a knowing while the proper Hebrew word “emunah” is a firm action.
To have faith in God is not knowing God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit but instead having faith beyond any doubt they are
true, and the Word of God and His promises are true beyond any doubt or fear.
Faith is our firm, secure belief that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are who they say they are and in faith, we take
laser-focused action concerning the Word and our relationship with Him. There is absolutely no doubt, fear or unbelief.
It involves acting to prove what the heart already knows. Faith without works is dead. James 2:14, 20, 26 .
The Hebrew word for believe is Aman which means stability and confidence. To be steady, firm and trustworthy. To
believe is not only cognitive (the mental act of acquiring knowledge) but also personal for we believe without doubting
God’s word of promise. This is a black and white issue and non-negotiable because who we indeed are, depend on it. I
can tell you that the views of the world are 180 degrees in opposition to the Kingdom of God.
I want to give an example of faith and believe concerning renewing our minds. In Romans 8:1 Paul states, There is
therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but
according to the Spirit. How many times do you get down on yourself, how many times do you speak negatively of
yourself? How many times do you condemn yourself? If you were like me, I did it all the time until I came to
understand these two most powerful words - faith and believe.
