finished.
Like anything else, this is just you and God. You will get out of it what you put into it. Just like in school, put the
date, name, subject, etc. so you can reference it later. I personally use Microsoft Word and many online “trusted and
legitimate” sites to gather information. I also ask leadership questions to get a well-rounded explanation of things when
I am not sure. The point of this study is “relationship,” to instill truth in you, which will bring forth the renewing and
transforming of your mind, of who we are and how we operate IN HIM, for IN HIM we live and move and have our
being.
1. Pray and place yourself in a position of reverence, peace, thanking God for this opportunity. Call on wisdom,
invite the Holy Spirit in and begin your study.
2. Ask Holy Spirit to give you a book, chapter or verse. If all else fails, start in Ephesians 1.
3. Read through the scripture once.
4. Read through that scripture again but this time, highlight any words, people, names and places you do not know
and write them down.
5. Define all highlighted words first in Hebrew. Look up all the highlighted words one at a time and get the root
meaning of the word or phrase.
6. Read again and answer from the scripture – Where, when, who, what, why and how…
