HOME
SHOW
Approximately 1,800 people attended the 2019 Home
Show, held Feb. 8-10 at the Coralville Marriott Hotel &
Conference Center, to find just what they needed for
their next home project. The latest in new construction,
remodeling, lawn and garden, interior design, spas,
home products and more were showcased through
nearly 80 exhibits and a multitude of professionals.
Thank you to Home Show Corporate Sponsors
Collins Community Credit Union and Lepic-Kroeger,
REALTORS ©, who also underwrote the scavenger
hunt through which two lucky winners received a
$500 voucher toward an HBA-member show vendor.
We also greatly appreciate the following sponsors:
CLB Planning and Design (lay out and exhibit hall
design); Iowa City Landscaping & Garden Center
(Kids Zone); Kitchens By Design (Kids Raffle); King’s
Material (lanyards and badges); and Window Depot of
Eastern Iowa (parking).
Lepic-Kroeger, REALTOR’s (LKR) Julie Dancer
(top) is interviewed by CBS Channel 2/Fox 28
News reporter Lukas Voss on opening day. LKR
held two screen-printing demonstrations at its
booth where Iowa-themed prints were made
and then given away.
Collins
Community
Union’s
booth. The
organization
had a
drawing
for a play
house.
FUN FOR KIDS
The Home Show was fun for the whole
family. In the Kids Zone, sponsored
by Iowa City Landscaping & Garden
Center, children made pine-cone bird
feeders using Crisco and bird seed.
Kitchens By Design hosted the Kids
Raffle in their tailgate-themed booth
that included bean bag toss.
