FANCY 'a side' of ocean view with
your brekkie? Well it's available on the
menu at the Pierview Restaurant.
Located upstairs in the New
Brighton Club, the Pierview
Restaurant has always been a popular
destination for dining and private
functions. Offering uninterrupted
views of beach, pier and coastline, the
view is a stunning accompaniment to
any occasion.
Sensational summer weather in
Canterbury has seen an increase in
people scrambling to the beach side
and to add to the seaside attraction
the Pierview is open Sundays from
set Sunday special.
Downstairs the club's Tramshed
Bistro is open for lunch and dinner
Tuesday to Saturday with a great
selection of meals, light meals, and
snacks.
As well as great dining, the New
Brighton Club provides regular live
music, big screen sport and rugby,
gaming room, plus social and
sporting sections.
Super Rugby is back and club has
the action live on the Tramshed Bar’s
super-sized screen. This weekend the
Crusaders play the Reds in
Queensland. Saturday, 8.45pm kickoff.

The last Sunday of the month has
turned into a tradition with the
Pierview’s ‘all you can eat’ Buffet.
Priced at just $25 per person, tables
fill fast on buffet nights, so bookings
are essential. And on all the other
Sundays, there’s a choice of the regular
dinner menu, blackboard specials, or
take advantage of the great value $25
Sunday’s arvo sessions continue to
be hugely popular. The next is
scheduled for Sunday 24th March
with local favourites, The Atarmies.
The four piece, made up of Mark
Jayet (drums, vocals); Mark Wootton
(lead guitar, vocals); Dennis Abbott
(bass, vocals); and Darren Alexander
(lead vocals guitar), has been
engaging audiences with their special
blend of classic rock and blues for
well over a decade. Catch them at the
club from 3pm on Sunday 24th
March.
