Savor the Avenue is a Delray Beach

located within the Downtown
area. The DDA is pleased to announce that
a portion of all tickets sold will benefit
Healthier Delray Beach. This year, in addition
to the judging panel, there will also
be a People’s Choice Award granted to the
restaurant with the best table décor. Be

Delray Beach to
Ban Plastic Straws
City-Wide by 2020
The City of Delray Beach received the
green light to proceed with its plastic
straw ban. The City Commission unanimously
passed the ordinance restricting
the distribution of plastic straws at all
restaurant and beverage establishments
at the February 5 Commission meeting.
Delray Beach is the first city in Palm Beach
County to enact this ban.
Effective February 6, 2019, food service
