At the Conde Center for Chiropractic Neurology, chiropractic
medicine is serious business. “Our brand of healing is less
fluff and more precision, accuracy, and results driven.”
The Conde Center for Chiropractic Neurology is backed by a
standard of excellence that is unparalleled. “Our treatment
modalities and techniques are based on the latest clinical
research. We focus on conditions that are difficult to solve,” said
Dr. John Conde, Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist and Diplomate
of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
As one of the few Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologists, Dr.
Conde’s approach to healing utilizes advanced neurological rehabilitation
protocols combined with traditional orthopedic medicine.
“The conditions we treat are often difficult to solve (and diverse
in nature) due to the world-class neurological and orthopedic treatment
options,” said the doctor. The conditions can range from disc
herniations, sciatica, spinal stenosis, numbness-tingling to stroke,
traumatic brain injury and dizziness.
“We help people get out of injury– and go from pain and dysfunction
to wellness,” said Dr. Conde, a Summa Cum Laude graduate
and Valedictorian of his class at Parker College of Chiropractic
in Dallas, Texas.
They sure do. Just ask Peter, a patient at the Conde Center. “I’ve
had neck and shoulder issues for years and have tried all types of
therapies. I just started with the Conde Center and I’m already in
much less pain and I’m sleeping through the night. Dr. Conde is
great, and Megan is awesome. They pulled me back from the brink
of disability into a functional state.”
“In order to achieve positive outcomes for our patients - and attain
a high standard of consistent excellence - you have to employ
and elite team of doctors and chiropractic assistants and invest in
state-of-the-art equipment.”
Dr. Conde is grateful to have Dr. Robert Safranski, chiropractic
physician, on his team. “He brings expertise, innovation, and
passion to the treatment regimens instituted here. The patients
truly love him.”
Some of the therapies and treatments utilized at the Conde Center
include Class IV high power laser therapy, non-surgical spinal
decompression therapy, whole-body vibration, and orthopedic
taping to name a few.
“These modalities accelerate tissue healing by tenfold. They are
also restorative for rehabilitating injured discs, tendinitis and arthritis.
It is wonderful to work with tools that heal and not just
mask the pain. It is even more wonderful to have such a highly
trained team providing these treatments. Our chiropractic assistants
receive intensive training,” said Dr. Safranski.
According to Dr. Conde patients who come to the Conde Center
marvel at the thorough and comprehensive examinations they
receive. “We take pride in coming up with an accurate working
diagnosis and treatment plan that will resolve the problem,” said
Dr. Safranski.
Part of this comprehensive exam now includes a Functional
Movement Systems (FMS) screening provided by a new member
of the team, Arantxa “X” Velezmoro. “X” (as she is affectionately
called) is a highly certified personal trainer. FMS is invaluable
for analyzing the body movement systems. “It focuses on areas of
pathomechanics or broken-down movement and generates exercises
to stabilize these dysfunctional regions. Patients are amazed
on how foot pan can be caused by improper mechanics of the hips.”
One person who has benefited from these advanced orthopedic
treatments and FMS is Tom. “Dr. Conde’s prescribed laser, electrostim
and manipulation have helped keep this 70-year-old running. I
also highly recommend his staff personal trainer. In only 5 sessions
she helped this lifelong fitness addict improve range of motion, balance
and posture. I now do everyday activities like rising from a sitting
or kneeling position with much less strain. And, the exercises
she has given me have greatly reduced shoulder and neck tension
while improving range of motion.”
The Conde Center has recently unveiled the “Applied Clinical
Neuroscience” (ACN) Wing. The ACN department provides
cutting-edge treatment for neurological ailments such as stroke,
brain injury, dizziness-vertigo, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis,
and dystonia using breakthrough functional neurology rehabilitation
practices.
“Functional neurology is based on the groundbreaking finding of
neuroplasticity, which says the brain and nervous system can be
molded or shaped according to its environmental stimulus. The
areas of poor neurological function can be made stronger by performing
targeted therapies,” said Dr. Conde.
In order to achieve these miraculous results, the ACN wing is
outfitted with the most innovative and evidence-based equipment
to diagnose and treat these neurological conditions. One of these
tools is the Dynavision D2. It works on areas of the brain responsible
for problem solving, timing, sequencing, planning, thought
processes speed and coordination.
“When using the D2, the patient manually compresses targets
made of 64 blinking LED lights pre-set by the intelligent software.
The information is recorded, and attention is placed on
speed and sequence.”
The Dynavision D2 has been utilized in many studies; including
one the Conde Center was involved in with the Upledger Institute
and the Ricky Williams Foundation. “This study neurologically assessed
six retired National Football League players with at least
one concussion in their career. The results were astounding because
the players displayed numerous deficiencies in brain activity
and their condition improved after treatment,” said Dr. Conde.
The success of these revolutionary treatment modalities makes
Dr. Conde even more optimistic about the Conde Center’s ability to
help patients who come to the clinic with unresolved neurological
conditions. “We are treating serious problems like dementia, vertigo,
traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and even Parkinson’s disease
and seeing outstanding results.”
The Conde Center’s mission statement is centered on their
pledge to honor their patient’s patronage and trust with service,
clinical insight, and an unwavering commitment to their health
that goes beyond their highest expectations. “This is recited at our
weekly team meetings and runs deep in our team’s approach to patient
care,” said Dr. Conde.
