Barlow Tyrie – Parasols & Pavilions<br />
Sail<br />
The Sail parasol are available in circular, rectangular, or square<br />
form and in sizes from 2.5m square to 4m circular. Sail is made<br />
with anodised aluminium poles and the struts are accented<br />
with nickel-plated solid brass fittings for an excellent finish. All<br />
our parasols are supplied complete with a night storage cover.<br />
Optional parasol storage covers (small 4PSCS or large 4PSCL –<br />
see previous page 193) are available and can be purchased.<br />
Free standing and in-ground fixing bases are available for these<br />
parasols (not include). A base should always be used with all<br />
parasols and are available as either a standard, freestanding,<br />
floor fixing or in-ground base – see pages 206 – 207. Our custom<br />
made parasol bases are made of steel which receives a zinc<br />
electroplating to retard oxidation, then a final coat of a durable<br />
grey powder coat paint finish.<br />
All our shade products are stocked in Sunbrella® ‘Canvas’. Special<br />
orders in other Sunbrella fabrics are available at a higher cost –<br />
please enquire.<br />
Product care<br />
At the end of the season, we suggest you clean your cushions<br />
and parasols before storing them in a dry, well-ventilated<br />
area. Although Sunbrella® fabric will not mildew or mould, we<br />
recommend that the canopy is cleaned regularly to prevent<br />
the accumulation of dirt on the fabric.<br />
To clean and maintain your cushions and parasols, we<br />
recommend removing dirt, grease, oil, and mould. After<br />
cleaning the use of ‘Barlow Tyrie Fabric Weather Guard’ (4FWG)<br />
protects the fabric from the aging effects of weather.<br />

Anodising is an electrochemical process that converts the metal<br />
surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant finish.<br />
Brass or stainless steel blanking caps and parasol hole reducer rings<br />
that complement our tables are available separately – see page 199.<br />
