Every woman’s dream is to
look good and have a
flawless physique all the
time, but the idea of going
under the knife just to look
perfect and gain attention
doesn’t seat well with popular
TV presenter and OAP,
Stephanie Coker Aderinokun.
In a recent post on her
Instagram page, the media
personality showed off her
figure stated that although the
photo looks perfect, she is
imperfect but lives happily
with her flaws. Stephanie
stated that doing plastic
surgery on its own is risky and
if anyone would take that risk,
it should be for themselves
and not to impress men who
themselves look like ‘Humpty
Dumpty’.
“Although this was captured
perfectly by renowned
photographer, Kelechi
Amadi-Obi, this image is not
flawless and it has nothing to
do with lighting, angles or the
environment. It is because the
subject herself is imperfect. I
always wanted to keep this
image in my closet room for
my eyes only. Until last week
when a friend said she was

not opposed to one altering their
looks, it is not my place to judge.
However, I do find following such
life threatening trends to grab
the attention of others a bit
risky, especially when
most men on this side of
the world are walking
around looking like
Humpty Dumpty. There
have been a handful of
cases that I personally
know of women who
have lost their lives to
plastic surgery.
I say all this to
say, if you are going
to get plastic
surgery, please
do it for
yourself at
least, and
research the
risks to your
health and weigh
up your options,”

Being an adult is hard work

although it is hard to keep

up a smiling face to hard

Actor IK Ogbonna has
threatened to slam a
lawsuit against a US-based
Nigerian lady, Joyce Boakye,
who accused him of being
gay in a recent video she
posted on her Instagram
page.
Joyce in the video alleged
that the actor abandoned his
pretty wife, Sonia, and is now
going after Nollywood actors
who he desires to sleep with.
She asked him to come out of
the closet and admit his
sexuality to the world just as
Bobrisky did and is living fine
with it.
But reacting to the
allegation, IK Ogbonna in a
letter written to her by
his lawyers,
Moshood Shehu
and Associates
demanded an
apology from
Joyce within
seven days
and that if she
fails to do this,
a lawsuit will be
filed against her
at the Lagos State

High Court.
He also took to his Instagram
page to lament how people
misuse their freedom of
expression as he challenged
the lady to provide proofs if her
claims are true.

promotion and marketing has
given people cheap voices to
speak cheaply about people’s
hard earned integrity. Most of
those who want us to come out
with “who we truly are” as they
claim, have themselves
nothing to show to anyone. The
noises are mostly made and
heard from the empty barrels.

Committee
S elf-acclaimed
Nigerian king of
street music, Olamide,
and popular Nollywood
actress, Eniola Badmus
have found their way into
the corridors of power as
they have been named
alongside others as part
of the Ogun governorelect,
Dapo Abiodun’s
Economic Transition
Committee.
The billionaire
businessman who won
the 2019 Ogun State
Governorship election,
made the announcement
via Instagram on
Monday, April 15,2019.
The duo who are both
indigenes of Ogun State,
were named in the
Economic Transition
Committee, to work as
part of the Commerce
and Industry subcommittee
by the
incoming governor.
According to Dapo
Abiodun, there will be 10
committees which will
see to the transition
process.
A follow up post on the
governor-elect’s page
reveals that the economic
transition committee and
work groups are to be
inaugurated on
Wednesday April 17,
2019.
They will be joining
other celebrities like
Richard Mofe-Damijo,
Okey Bakassi, Nkiru
Sylvanus, Yul Edochie
and Desmond Elliot in
getting political
appointments.
