Fridays After Five will return beginning<br />
June 14, bringing food trucks and<br />
live music to the Commons on select Friday<br />
evenings. Midlife Crisis will join us<br />
to kick off the series, and the events will<br />
continue with LUPO headlining on Aug.<br />
2 and Worth the Risk finishing things up<br />
on Aug. 23. This free event is a great way<br />
to start your weekend, so be sure to grab<br />
your cooler and blanket and meet us for<br />
the tastes and tunes.<br />
Play Day in the Commons is returning<br />
on June 30, with more fun for our young<br />
residents and visitors, including character<br />
visits, face painting, an animal show,<br />
inflatables, and more. The Village’s Independence<br />
Day Celebration takes place at<br />
6 p.m. July 4, and will feature live music<br />
and a fireworks display that can’t be<br />
missed. Another local tradition is Ladies<br />
Night Out, which will take place on Aug.<br />
16, bringing shopping, wine, and live music<br />
from CK and The Gray to the Commons.<br />
And, finally, Live on the Lawn is<br />
returning on two days and will be a celebration<br />
of our community talent. The New<br />
Lenox Community Band will be performing<br />
on both dates and will be accompanied<br />
by Cloggin’ Craze on June 2 and the<br />
Lincoln-Way Area Chorale on July 14.<br />
