the shortfall <strong>in</strong> the capital requirement for the implementation of the project. This scheme<br />

Powered by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), this scheme facilitates bank loans<br />

between 10 lakh and 1 crore. This loan can be provided to at least one scheduled caste (SC) or<br />

Scheduled Tribe borrower and at least one woman per bank branch for se ng up a Greenfield<br />

enterprise i.e the first me venture of the beneficiary <strong>in</strong> the manufactur<strong>in</strong>g or services or trad<strong>in</strong>g<br />

sector. In the case of non-<strong>in</strong>dividual enterprises, at least 51% of the sharehold<strong>in</strong>g and controll<strong>in</strong>g<br />

stake should be held by either an SC/ST or Woman Entrepreneur.<br />

Mul plier Grants Scheme<br />

Powered by M<strong>in</strong>istry Of Electronics and Informa on Technology, Mul plier Grants Scheme (MGS)<br />

aims to encourage collabora ve R&D between <strong>in</strong>dustry and academics/ R&D <strong>in</strong>s tu ons for the<br />

development of products and packages. F<strong>in</strong>ancial support up to twice the amount provided by the<br />

<strong>in</strong>dustry is given for R&D for the development of products that can be commercialized at the<br />

<strong>in</strong>s tu on level. <strong>The</strong> proposal is to be submi ed jo<strong>in</strong>tly by the <strong>in</strong>s tu on and the <strong>in</strong>dustry suppor ng<br />
