Police appeal for information<br />

<strong>OWL</strong> <strong>Cymru</strong> 19100444878—Burglary in Connahs Quay—Please be vigilant<br />

Police are appealing for information and urging residents to be vigilant following a burglary in the Mold<br />

Road area of Connahs Quay. The incident occurred at around 0100 hrs on 11th August. The offender<br />

appears to have entered through an open window. If you have any information please contact Police by<br />

<strong>OWL</strong> <strong>Cymru</strong> X115603—Fatal collision in Arthog, Gwynedd<br />

A 30-year-old pedal cyclist has sadly died following a road traffic collision in Gwynedd Sunday afternoon<br />

(August 11th).Shortly after 1:30pm <strong>North</strong> <strong>Wales</strong> Police <strong>we</strong>re informed by the Ambulance Service of a two<br />

vehicle collision on the A493 in Arthog whereby the cyclist had collided with a Honda CRV that was towing a<br />

caravan. The cyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke, ho<strong>we</strong>ver sadly, he died during the early hours of<br />

Monday morning. The Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.<br />

Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time. “We are appealing<br />

to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have seen the cyclist just prior to<br />

the collision to come forward. “Our investigation is underway and anybody who may be able to assist is<br />

urged to contact us on 101 or via our live <strong>we</strong>b chat quoting reference number <strong>OWL</strong> <strong>Cymru</strong> X115603.”<br />
