MISSION & SERVICES<br />
Camp Courageous is a year-round recreational and<br />
respite care facility for individuals of all ages with special<br />
needs. Camp Courageous provides week long stays,<br />
respite care weekends, emergency respite, and a travel<br />
program. Over 9,000 campers are served annually. The<br />
camp is run primarily on donations, without government<br />
funding, formal sponsorship, or someone paid to raise<br />
funds for the camp.<br />
HOW TO HELP<br />
One can help by volunteering...with campers...dietary...<br />
maintenance...nursing. Donate excess food from one’s<br />
garden. Donate supplies from the camp’s needs list. One<br />
can help with fund raisers, like obtaining items for the<br />
camp’s annual Pineapple Gala auction. One can put on<br />
their own fund raiser for camp, since camp pays no one to<br />
raise money for the camp.<br />
