countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our<br />
market through long-term, fair trading relationships.<br />
HOW TO HELP<br />
You can help by shopping fair trade at Ten Thousand Villages. Every<br />
purchase you make creates an opportunity for the artisan who<br />
made that product to live a more dignified and empowered life. By<br />
purchasing from these artisans we are amplifying their voices, helping<br />
send their children to school and breaking the cycle of poverty.<br />
Pictured is Heera and his family. Heera leads the Zardozi embroidery<br />
workshop in Tehatta, India where artisans keep a centuries old tradition<br />
of embroidery alive while creating contemporary tapestries.<br />
