Ò Ana Carmichael Ana is an experienced community support worker who is a caring, honest, diligent and responsible person. Two years ago, she stopped working to care for her husband, Ross with whom she has a daughter. Now a widow, she is going back to work. She used to work as Assistant Nurse at Nursing Group, in hospitals and nursing homes. She also used to work as Community Support worker Ana finished TAFE Course Certificate IV in Business and Frontline Management, Certificate IV in Aged Care, and Computer Application for the office. She is always interested to learn new skills, to get involved in the community, help others to make a difference and to continue working after her retirement age as long as she able to. In the Philippines, she worked as Quality Control Supervisor in garments and textile manufacturing company for 14 years. She travelled to Australia after her marriage to Ross Carmichael. She is a member of a Choir at St John Church, she enjoys singing joyful and praising songs to God our Lord Jesus Christ every Sunday afternoon mass. She is also a member of Hand Maids of the Lord and is active member of Filipino Women Support Group and APCO, Inc. She plays tennis, loves cooking, gardening, fishing and sewing, She is a Volunteer for Advocacy Work and supports Alpha at St John Church Campbelltown. Ò Josephine Remotigue de los Reyes Josephine grew up in Manila. She has a BS Commerce degree, Centro Escolar University, is a Certified Public Accountant and Justice of the Peace, Past President of the Association of Australian Filipino Accountants and helps newly arrived accountants get integrated into the Filipino Australian community. She has been a regular columnist and reporter for Philippine Australian Community newspapers for the past 25 years. She loves dancing and cherishes involvement in Filipino community activities as past president of various community organizations. She is the Internal Auditor of Plaza Filipino. and Treasurer of Sedgwick Housing Cooperative Ltd and NARRA. As Justice of the Peace, she is proud that she is able to help the Filipino – Australian communities and greatly honoured as member of organizations, social or religious, that helps the community. Ò Violeta Seno Logarta Greig Violeta finished her secondary education at St.Theresa’s College Cebu and graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of San Carlos. She’s a proud daughter of the late Congressman Don Vicente Logarta and the granddaughter of the First Judge of Cebu Don Miguel Logarta. An Accountant by profession, she was able to raise all children by herself. Now at her ripe age of 94, she is devoted grandmother and a great grandmother to nine children. Violeta is a devotee to Senyor Sto. Nino and to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
Ò Rosalina Bolor Lay Rose is from Abra. She is married to a loving and supportive husband Engr Collins Lay and is blessed with 3 children, Juliet Princena, Laila White and Alaister. She also enjoys the love of her 7 grandkids, Joshua, Jerika, Jade, Kayla, Ethan, Laden and Angelina. Rose experienced running for Councilor for Campbeltown Council and presently she is the President of Filipino Womens Support Group Macarthur, and past President of Concerned Citizens for over 50’s. She is the owner/director of PCR Park Central Realty for 20 years. Rose is currently a Director and Silver Legacy Supporter of Narra Co-op Ltd. Ò Rose Larriego Rose Larriego is a mother of a lovely son. She was born in Toledo Cebu City, Philippines. She went to Talavera Elementary Public School and Matab-ang Barangay High School. She took up nursing at the University of Visayas. In the Philippines, she worked at Gazini Department Store in Cebu City as a sales lady. She migrated to Australia in 1984 and took up courses in Nursing, Security, IT and Food Management. Rose is a multi-skilled lady. She worked at the Hilton Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel as a housekeeping attendant, and laudry assiatant at Blacktown Laundrymat. She worked as an assistant in nursing at Our Lady of Loreto Nursing School, St.Joachim Nursing Home, Harris Park Nursing home, Chandos Nursing Home, and Bethel Nursing Home. She also worked part time as a baker at Arndell park and as a security officer at Downunder Security Company and Aces Security Company. Rose enjoy walking, dancing,fishing,gardening,camping,travelling, and her passion is cooking. Ò Marites Idea Novis Marites Idea Novis walks the talk with faith, grace, and glamour. In July 2000, Marites founded a familyowned Philippine-based company Quezon First Engineering at a young age of 29. Since then she managed the business and has attained exposure to general construction as finance and logistic manager and has mastered the expertise of a property strategist. In addition to her role as business owner, Marites is a devoted and caring mother, sister and daughter. Quezon First Engineering became a persevering force and a coming together of fully committed and well-experienced professional engineers and architects. The company became a breakthrough of trustworthy services which include designing, consulting and building for the growing general construction industry in the advent of the new millennium. For almost 18 years managing her owned first company, Marites knew she has a lot to offer in the industry so she and her husband, Engr. Gerard Francis Novis migrated to Australia and they Investment Group on October 2017. property and business founded Qfirst Property This passion-driven businesswoman has described her role as Qfirst Property Investment Group’s managing director as “an outlet where dreams are allowed to be big and fear is conquered.” Even in a different country, Qfirst Property Investment Group’s ultimate goal did not change. MFN Productions is a conglomeration of competent photographers, keen scriptwriters, and sensible event organizers. While successfully managing Qfirst Property Investment Group, Marites dedicates her time and effort in guiding and advising her clients on strategies of achieving their financial goals through property investment while at the same time producing and aiming for high quality shows to further strengthen business partnerships, interracial community relationships, fashion and beauty exhibitions.
