Ò Felix Geolagon<br />
Felix was born in Pilar, Bohol. He finished his secondary education from<br />
Villaroma College in Paco, Manila <strong>and</strong> then graduated with a degree in<br />
Bachelor of Commerce major in Marketing from Arellano University<br />
Manila. He was a working student during his college years by getting a<br />
job as waiter in Taverna Restaurant in Ermita, Manila. At present, he is<br />
employed as carer.<br />
Felix is active in Filipino Australian community organisations. He is<br />
one of the direc<strong>to</strong>rs of Concerned Citizens for Over 50’s <strong>and</strong> is a Bronze<br />
Legacy supporter of NARRA Co-operative Ltd. He enjoys singing <strong>and</strong><br />
dancing.<br />
He is a proud father of his only daughter who is also residing in Sydney.<br />
Ò Colin J Lay<br />
Engr Colin J Lay was born <strong>and</strong> raised in Engl<strong>and</strong>, had his early education<br />
at Glyn County Grammar School, Epsom <strong>and</strong> graduated with the degree<br />
of Bachelor of Technology in Electrical <strong>and</strong> Electronic Engineering at<br />
Brunel University London.<br />
Before retirement, Colin worked at Advisian, Scott Lister, TfNSW<br />
Transport Projects Division, Railcorp, State Rail Authority of NSW, Rail<br />
Infrastructure Corporation, Rail Access Corporation, Halcrow Group,<br />
Transmark <strong>and</strong> British Rail.<br />
He is happily married <strong>to</strong> Rose Lay <strong>and</strong> have one h<strong>and</strong>some son, Alistair. A<br />
devoted husb<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> father, Colin loves watching TV <strong>and</strong> the company<br />
of friends karaokeing <strong>and</strong> dancing.<br />
Ò Reonell Galang Luz<br />
Reonell, the eldest of five children, was born in Manila <strong>and</strong> grew up in the<br />
UP Diliman Campus <strong>and</strong> had his elementary <strong>and</strong> high school education<br />
at UPIS. He enrolled in Philippine School of Business Administration<br />
but shifted <strong>to</strong> learn basic electrical skills in Meralco Foundation. He<br />
migrated <strong>to</strong> Australia in 2000 <strong>and</strong> <strong>to</strong>ok Certificate Courses in Information<br />
Technology <strong>and</strong> Office Administration in TAFE.<br />
At present he works in Daikin Australia as team leader in manufacturing.<br />
He is a person who learns fast <strong>and</strong> works without <strong>to</strong>o much supervision.<br />
In 2018, he was sent by Daikin in Thail<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> was one of the speakers<br />
in the workshop.<br />
His son, Prince<strong>to</strong>n, is not only academically number 1 in Ateneo Grade School Year 9, but also<br />
<strong>to</strong>pped in competitions in math, science, public speaking <strong>and</strong> writing. A devout Catholic, he serves<br />
as acolyte at Sunday mass in Dela Strada Q.C, Reonell guides his son despite their distance. As a<br />
son <strong>and</strong> a brother, Reonell is generous <strong>and</strong> caring. He enjoys watching movies <strong>and</strong> sports <strong>and</strong> has<br />
great interest in his<strong>to</strong>ry.<br />
He is an active member of the Alliance of Philippine Community Organisations, Inc.
