Adventures in Science and Math
R‰s 2
We believe that many guiding principles
of physics and math are happening during
the course of children’s play every
day. In this multi-session workshop, we
will explore and use common materials
as props to help teachers see the
underlying physics that happen or could
happen in their programs. Participants
will be actively involved in physics activities.
Each participant will be challenged
to try activities with their children using
props they’ve made or that are easily
obtainable. Observations, brainstorming,
and sharing ensue over the course of this
multi-session workshop.
