UCA‘s Halloween House<br />

Last <strong>October</strong>, as temperatures cooled and leaves<br />
gently floated to the ground, drivers cautiously<br />
making their way down Donaghey Avenue made<br />
a shocking discovery; a crew of skeletons and spooky<br />
beings had suddenly inhabited the front yard of the<br />
President’s House. These ghouls all shared one quality:<br />
a passionate devotion to the UCA Bears.<br />
These Halloween decorations originated in the fertile<br />
imagination of one amazing lady, Mrs. Pam Teague,<br />
the Special Events Coordinator for the President’s<br />
Office at the University of Central Arkansas. She began<br />
brainstorming that summer and dreamed up the idea of<br />
a UCA Cheerleader skeleton pyramid, a scout campfire<br />
scene, and skeleton-impersonators of the President in<br />
a suit and First Lady in running shoes sitting in lawn<br />
chairs and waving at those who pass every day. The<br />
intention of the decorations was to bring joy to the<br />
many children who trick-or-treat at The President’s<br />
