Ms Heather Cleland is a Plastic Surgeon who is<br />
currently head of the state-wide Victorian Adult<br />
Burns Service at the Alfred Hospital. In addition<br />
to clinical practice and service development,<br />
she is actively involved in clinical education,<br />
training, and research.<br />
She has been instrumental in establishing<br />
the clinical quality Burns Registry of Australia<br />
and New Zealand, and chairs its steering<br />
committee. She is a Board member of the<br />
Australian and New Zealand Burns Association<br />
and Past President. She has served on various<br />
departmental and professional committees,<br />
and is a member of the Donor Tissue Bank<br />
Committee of the Victorian Institute of Forensic<br />
Medicine, member of the Court of Examiners<br />
of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons<br />
and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at <strong>Monash</strong><br />
University.<br />
Mr Charles Gillies<br />

Mr Gillies is the co-founder of Jolimont Global<br />
Mining Systems, which specialises in investing<br />
in mining technology companies. These<br />
companies compete in fast-moving, highly<br />
competitive global technology markets. As<br />
an active investor himself, his approach has<br />
been to work closely with management to<br />
develop a plan to create economic value. He<br />
has been Director and Chairman of a number<br />
of technology and investment companies<br />
and has worked closely with CEOs and<br />
management teams, developing strategies<br />
and setting objectives and performance<br />
targets.<br />
Dr Misty Jenkins<br />

Dr Jenkins is an NHMRC fellow, biomedical<br />
scientist and laboratory head at Walter and<br />
Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research, where<br />
she researches cellular immunology and new<br />
immunotherapies for cancer. Dr Jenkins has<br />
previously held postdoctoral positions at<br />
the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford,<br />
and The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre<br />
in Melbourne. Dr Jenkins was awarded the<br />
L’Oreal for Women in Science Fellowship<br />
(2013), was Tall Poppy of the Year (2015)<br />
and won the Westpac/Australian Financial<br />
Review Top 100 Women of Influence award<br />
(2016). In addition to her research career, Dr<br />
Jenkins brings experience in governance as<br />
a Director and Deputy Chair of The National<br />
Centre for Indigenous Genomics at ANU,<br />
previous Director of the Aurora Education<br />
Foundation, Ambassador for the Poche Centre<br />
for Indigenous <strong>Health</strong> and Chair of NHMRC<br />
Project Grant Review Panels.<br />
