on the visitors forward
line became more static,
costing them dearly as
every attack broke
down, there was no
running off the ball or
willingness to chase
back and close
defensive midfielders.
Bridgnorth took the lead in the 22nd minute with a scrappy goal. A
corner from Bridgnorth’s left was met at the near post by Charlie
Swingwood his glancing header caused a mini scramble, Scott Glasby
putting the ball into his own net to give Bridgnorth the lead.
The home side doubled their lead 6 minutes later in the 28th minute
a quick break lead to a classy finish across Darlaston’s keeper
Whittaker by Dominic Court to giving Bridgnorth a 2-0 lead which
they held until the half-time interval.
At the half during the half time interval manager Andy Parkes need to
instil confidence and a much better worth ethic in his lethargic team
if they were to get something from today's game.
