Darlaston hit the dizzy heights of fourth place in the West Midlands
Regional League Premier Division with a confident and ultimately
resounding 4-0 home win against high riding Black Country Rangers.
With manager Andy Parkes on holiday his assistants Nick Lewis and
Ant Follows took charge making two enforced changes with Reis
Nadat and Sam Causton replacing the unavailable Ryan Jones and
Aidan Blackham.
The early exchanges were even with Darlaston having a glorious
opportunity on 6 minutes, when Leon Taylor failed to connect
properly from 6 yards following Lucas Hough's curling free
kick.
