Andy, his management team and players are working extremely hard to cut
out errors and get the consistency needed to do well in this Division. I am
sure we will see the fruits of their hard work over the coming weeks.
In contrast to these two disappointing results our new Ladies team have
made a magnificent start to their League season with two superb wins in
the last two weeks. They have won both games against Walsall FC
Development and Nuneaton 15-0 and 12-1 respectively. The Ladies team
play Rugby Borough FC at The Paycare Ground tomorrow kick off 2.00pm.
The weather forecast is good, the bar will be open, entry is free and I am
sure the Ladies will be delighted to see you there.
Some dates for your diary. The floodlights are now fully installed and
operational. Our first competitive game under the lights is on Tuesday 1
October when we play Walsall Town Swifts in the J W Hunt Cup. A Walsall
FC XI will visit to play us on Tuesday 5 November to officially open the
floodlights whilst our first league game under the lights will be the
following Tuesday 12 November when Wolves Casuals will be the visitors.
Thank you again for your fantastic support and enjoy todayʼs game.
