Darlaston's 11 month and 14 game unbeaten away league record was
ended at Brinsford Lane as two late goals sealed a Cassies win.
On a superb playing surface in glorious sunshine both teams served
up a feast of excellent football, Darlaston having the better of the first
half and Casuals controlling large parts of the second half.
The visitors opened brightly, Lucas Hough was the first to create an
opportunity shooting wide on 3 minutes. Minutes later Ezekiel
Agyemang also shot wide when well placed. Both sides were playing
some neat enterprising football but Darlaston were having the better
of the exchanges against their highly fancied opponents.
