Darlaston’s attacking options. The visitors were gifted a penalty in
the 70th minute when Leon Taylor was fouled by substitute John

Darlaston some hope
of getting something
out of the game with
20 minutes left.
Darlaston threw the
kitchen sink at the
home defence for the
remainder of the game, creating several half chances, but none were
taken as they all missed the target not even forcing a save from
Bridgnorth’s under worked keeper Groome.
The match finished in a 2-1 win for AFC Bridgnorth, Darlaston
supporters and players left feeling empty once again at the
end of the game for the third time this season. 13
