LSI announces<br />

new hires and<br />

new facility<br />

LSI Industries Inc., a manufacturer<br />

of outdoor and indoor<br />

lighting and graphics for<br />

commercial, industrial, and<br />

multi-site retail applications,<br />

has named Erin Nichols as its<br />

new national accounts sales<br />

manager. Nichols will work<br />

with distributors to expand lighting product sales,<br />

manage customer satisfaction, and provide the firstclass<br />

service upon which LSI is built. In addition,<br />

Nichols will be instrumental in creating direct relationships<br />

with a range of national retailers, including<br />

hypermarket, warehouse, discount, and retail-banking<br />

formats, by leveraging the strength of LSI Industries’<br />

diverse product offerings, and helping LSI’s customers<br />

to be more competitive in their markets.<br />

Prior to joining LSI Industries, Nichols achieved impressive<br />

revenue-generation, customer-acquisition and<br />

customer-retention metrics in account management<br />

and business development roles for the medical and<br />

pharmaceutical industries.<br />

LSI has also appointed<br />

Thomas A. Caneris as Senior<br />

Vice President – Human<br />

Resources and General<br />

Counsel. Caneris brings to<br />

LSI more than 30 years of<br />

experience as a practicing<br />

attorney and senior advisor<br />

in both public and private company settings. Most<br />

recently, he was a Senior Vice President at PharMerica<br />

Corporation from 2007 through 2019, leading<br />

the Human Resources Group and serving as General<br />

Counsel. Earlier in his career, he served as Commercial<br />

Affairs Counsel for AK Steel Corporation.<br />

Caneris will focus on the acceleration of LSI Industries’<br />

initiatives to retain and attract top talent and continue<br />

efforts to deliver a customer-centric organization<br />

and workforce that enriches skill, diversity, and satisfaction.<br />

In addition to guiding the organization on all<br />

aspects of human resources, he will utilize his wealth of<br />

operational knowledge to collaborate with functional<br />

leaders in several areas of the business, including communications,<br />

investor relations, and government affairs.<br />

In other LSI news, a press release announced that<br />

the town of New Windsor, New York, will host the<br />

company’s new facility. “Congratulations are in order<br />

for the town of New Windsor for its approval of the<br />

ground lease, which clears the way for a new owner to<br />

offer quality jobs in another wise dormant commercial<br />

space,” said Jim Clark, President and CEO. “We’re<br />

thrilled to be close to completing this transaction.”<br />

LSI headquarters is in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has<br />

facilities in Ohio, Kentucky, California, New York,<br />

North Carolina, Rhode Island and Texas.<br />

President of Proto-Vest retires<br />

Proto-Vest, Inc. of Glendale, Arizona, announced<br />

the retirement of President and CEO<br />

Christopher (Woody) McElroy. After 36 years<br />

with the company, McElroy who holds nine<br />

patents on car wash dryer systems.<br />

New Proto-Vest President Jeff Reichard has<br />

previously served as CEO and president of various<br />

business sectors within the $15 million to<br />

Cleaning Systems, Inc. (CSI) of De Pere,<br />

Wisconsin, announced the hiring of Victor<br />

Buffo to the position of Lustra® Regional<br />

Sales Manager for Florida. Victor is based in<br />

Atlanta, Georgia, and will help support the<br />

Southeast with emphasis on Florida. For the<br />

past 18 years Victor was with ZEP Vehicle<br />

Care Division as a Territory Manager, Corporate<br />

Account Specialist and most recently was<br />

Distributor Sales Development Manager responsible<br />

for directly managing their distributor<br />

network that spans the East Coast and<br />

Eastern Canada.<br />

Dave Krause, President and CEO of CSI,<br />

stated in a press release, “We are excited to<br />

welcome Victor to the Lustra Division Team.<br />

His industry experience, breadth of roles and<br />

responsibilities and relationship strength will<br />

be a great contribution to the ongoing success<br />

of our Southeast team.”<br />
