A statement comprises general pronouncements by any MP on issues <strong>of</strong> topical concern or a statement<br />
sought/ Question asked by a Member from a Cab<strong>in</strong>et Secretary or Committee Chairperson, relat<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>the</strong><br />
matters under <strong>the</strong> m<strong>and</strong>ate <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> CS or Committee. Questions/Statements provide an excellent avenue<br />
for hold<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Executive to account, <strong>and</strong> are mirrored on <strong>the</strong> practice <strong>in</strong> Commonwealth jurisdictions<br />
where <strong>the</strong> Prime M<strong>in</strong>ister <strong>and</strong> Cab<strong>in</strong>et appear before Parliament to directly respond to questions from<br />
Members.<br />
A complete schedule <strong>of</strong> Questions asked/ Statements sought by Youth MPs dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> <strong>11th</strong> Parliament <strong>and</strong><br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> first two years <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>12th</strong> Parliament is annexed to this Report as Annexes 7 <strong>and</strong> 8.<br />
