Homeschool Stage 4: Water Introduction
Thursday
Y member rate: $72
Y non-member rate: $107
Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 3. For home schooled children 5
- 11 years of age who can swim 15 yards unassisted. Having
mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety
skills and build stroke technique.
Ages: 5 to 11

Homeschool Stage 5: Stroke Development
Thursday

Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 4. For home schooled children 5
- 11 years who can swim 25 yards unassisted and show endurance
in the water with any stroke or combination of strokes. Students in
stage 5 work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive
strokes. The emphasis on water safety continues through treading
water and sidestroke.

Youth Stage 1: Water Acclimation
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

For school age children who have never had swim lessons without
a parent or guardian, or are afraid of the water. Students develop
comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit the
water unassisted. This stage lays the foundation that allows for a
student's future progress in swimming.
