Nudgee College is one of Australia’s largest
boarding schools, with a capacity of 332 boys
from Years 5 to12.
In 2015, Nudgee College opened the
redeveloped Boarding Village with a state-ofthe-art
facility which forms the heart and soul of
the College.
Each boy has his own individual room that feels
like his home inside a larger house. Features
include his own window, natural light, single bed,
space and quietness to study, a desk, shelving,
cupboard, large lockable storage areas, task
lighting, wireless internet, overhead fans, and
bench seating.

St Margaret’s is very proud of its boarding
traditions with long standing connections (often
across generations) with rural Queensland,
northern New South Wales, Northern Territory,

The boarding house for St Monica’s students
is situated at St. Augustine’s College - Chavoin
Residence. While this residence cannot replicate
home, it does reflect a strong sense of family and
a sense of both fun and purpose.
All staff work hard to provide high quality support,
supervision plus educational and spiritual
guidance for the young women in their care.
Fulltime boarders enjoy a weekend program
which offers sport, activities, free time, outings
and study. Weekly boarders leave on Friday
afternoon and return in time for Mass on Sunday
night. During the week, they follow the same
timetable as the weekly boarders.
The residence is air-conditioned with bright
spaces to decorate and their own study areas.
Library, swimming pool, music centre, IT facilities
and other amenities are accessible.
