Fall is my favorite season! Between the start of
the fall semester in September, students who are
starting or continuing their educational journeys, and
thanksgiving celebrations and Halloween, the energy
and enthusiasm is palpable, and joyous. The fall colors,
sounds of leaves crunching underfoot, the cool, crisp
air… All of these things prompt me to give thanks for
the joys of life, and inspire me to take a deep breath,
reflect, and prepare for the cooler months ahead.

Many of you share my enthusiasm for fall. Indeed, the
School of Community and Health Studies has much to
celebrate! Recently, we held our first of two school-wide
sessions designed to seek additional feedback around
our collective strengths and future opportunities.
