When it comes to decorating, Michael and Deanne Goss
make the perfect team: she finds the perfect item to display
and he finds the perfect place for it to shine.
“
It‘s a lot of fun for both of us.
We have actually asked guests
to guess how many nutcrackers,
wreaths, or trees during parties.
So far, we have 21 nutcrackers,
15 wreaths, over 50 poinsettias,
and 42 Christmas trees.
”

The Gosses have once again created a Christmas wonderland in their
Conway home, featuring whimsical nutcrackers, lots of wreaths, and
a forest of trees. “Christmas is our favorite holiday because it represents
the birth of Jesus, but Michael and I also just love to decorate.
I love finding cool things, and Michael has a gift of knowing just
where to put them,” said Deanne. “Also, the decorations around
Christmas are far and away our favorite. Plus, it stays up for nearly
six weeks, so it really works for us.”
Michael said that before he and Deanne were married, he enjoyed
adding Christmas décor to his home on Par Fore. After they married
and later moved into their current home in Pippinpost, they realized
that it was the perfect location for decorations. “Virtually everywhere
we look, we can see a spot that a tree would work, or a wreath, or
some garland. Even though it’s a large home, it’s actually not that
difficult to decorate. It takes about a day and a half ... and now that we
have kids ... it takes even longer,” Michael says, jokingly.
The plan for their Christmas décor is to consider each room or space
