A
diverse and lively group of
women, self-proclaimed the
Doodles, gathered at the home
of Gail Strack for their annual Christmas
party. Just who are the Doodles? Pattie
Howse-Duncan of Conway desired a
way to spend more time with women
she admired. From there, a group of
talented, spiritual, creative women
agreed to meet monthly with the sole
purpose of learning from each other.
This band of sisters named themselves
the Doodles and have been inspiring
each other for almost a decade.
“Enjoying the intimacy of meeting in each
other’s homes, the host is charged with
teaching something new so they can all
become better women. Over the years,
the group has truly doodled at many
things, including countless craft projects,
cooking demonstrations, decorating ideas
and so much more,” explained Pattie.
The highlight of the year is the muchanticipated
Christmas dinner and gift
exchange at the home of Gail Strack. Gail
decorates her home with numerous trees
covered in soft lights and glass ornaments,
an abundance of fresh greenery, flowers
