it’s beginning to sound like
christmas.
This term has been wonderfully busy with lots of Music making!
Epilogues
Our three epilogues this term have allowed quiet and reflection, with the Matin Responsary and Psalm 23
being particularly special. Parents, students and staff are more than welcome to attend on the last Thursday
of the month at 4pm (next one in January).
Recitals
Many students have taken part in our recitals this term, showing a wide range of musical instruments and
talents. Well done to all the boys who have performed.
Choir out and about
The choir have been entertaining audiences in time for Christmas. Finn Dolce (year 10) writes: “We have
performed at the Purley View Nursing Home, St Nicholas Centre and Whitgift centre where we sang a
variety of Christmas tunes. We collected for the St Raphael Hospice and Lilly Pad appeal. However, one of
the highlights was a performance at the St Giles school, where the enjoyment from their pupils was audible
and they treated us in return with Jingle Bells complete with signing.”
Special thanks has to go to all the Music staff, boys and parents.
