The John Fisher School continues it lomg and
proud tradition of former students being
ordained. On 14th December, former students
John Howard and Dermott O’Gorman were
part of the Solemn Mass of Ordination to the
Diaconate. This service was held by the Right
Reverend Richard Moth, Bishop of Arundel
and Brighton.
The school continues to support our local
charities and here are some of our students
presenting a cheque for £750 to Wendy
from the South-East Cancer Centre. The
charity work closely with families and
victims of cancer, and offer support and
guidance to some of the more well known
cancer charities. Wendy explained that this
money raised from part of our mufti day
will help run the centre for one day. A very
worthy cause.
Students in Year 9 have been studying the text; The Yellow
Wallpaper. Here is a snap of some of them creating their
own scene from the book.
Year 7 enjoying a Zumba session on a
Monday morning as a reward for all the hard
work fundraising for the Zepra charity..
